Educational Software Evaluation 


After using the Google Workspace For Education and OpenEMIS software for the academic year 2023-2024. My administrative staff was tasked to meet to evaluate these software to determine how to move forward.

However, the focus of November's administration meeting was to report on the Google Workspace For Education. A Google Meet was set up to facilitate this meeting due to inclement weather on that day.
 
The rubric attached below was used to highlight various aspects of Google Workspace For Education software.

  Component 3: Evaluate Plan Progress   After the Strategic plan was rolled out in September 2023, regular evaluation of how the digital tools and software were working to accomplish the goals set was necessary. This helped inform the decision-making process to determine  if the technology and methods we used reaped success in achieving our objectives, and how we could improve them.  The evaluation also documented what students had learned and how well they were learning. This was a way of  tracking student progress.  This allowed me as an institutional leader to make adjustments to the technology, methods, and assessments where needed.  This process was observed at the student/teacher pedagogical level using  Google Work Space For Education  software.
