As an EduLeadR adopting the Visionary Planner component of the ISTE Standards: For Educational Leaders can help get your institution where it needs to be. Since it incorporates the goals set by its leaders to create, share, and implement the plans they want to come to fruition. The next step left is for you to dive in and try it.

My institution is another example of how effective and beneficial the introduction of software such as Google Workspace For Education and OpenEMIS has been in pedagogy. It's because of this that my institution will never be the same.
Let's not forget that the aim of the ISTE Standards: For Educational Leaders, is to also improve student's learning outcomes with data collection and evaluation.
Using this holistic approach to technology integration can ensure the successful execution of your vision for your institution.

(1990) vision provides not only guidance and direction, but also purpose, meaning, and significance to the work of an institution, as well as enabling leaders to motivate and empower their staff to contribute to the realisation of the vision . Component 3: Evaluate Plan Progress

  Component 3: Evaluate Plan Progress   After the Strategic plan was rolled out in September 2023, regular evaluation of how the digital tools and software were working to accomplish the goals set was necessary. This helped inform the decision-making process to determine  if the technology and methods we used reaped success in achieving our objectives, and how we could improve them.  The evaluation also documented what students had learned and how well they were learning. This was a way of  tracking student progress.  This allowed me as an institutional leader to make adjustments to the technology, methods, and assessments where needed.  This process was observed at the student/teacher pedagogical level using  Google Work Space For Education  software.
